About Kendra

I'd describe my personality as empathic, kind, and playful. I like working with kids because they are always ready to have fun. Their emotions are genuine. Working with kids gives me the opportunity to revisit my own childhood and share those fun things with children. I'm looking for a job that lets me to mentor and connect with children in their everyday environments. I started working with kids when I was 7. I am the oldest granddaughter in a huge family. At family functions, I was put in charge of my younger cousins by default from a young age. Challenging, but I learned a ton! In my spare time, I like to play soccer, weight train, and sing. I competed for my college soccer team. One thing you should know about me is that I have a deep empathy for the unseen pressure kids feel these days. My skills include genuinely connecting with kids on their level by bending down, and looking them in their eyes. I can immerse myself in the child's world of free play, imagination, and fun!
