About Kendra

I can be very silly yet, keep things under control. I love working with kids because they are an endless source of laughter and creativity. They are so unique in their problem solving and views of the world. I have a BS in Early Childhood Education and Development. Over the past 25 years, I have been both a nanny and a daycare lead teacher with infants from 6 weeks old to after school programs. My husband and I have been married for 20 years. I spend most of my free time with my camera in my hands. I love classic movies and I am learning French. My biggest assets as a caregiver are my caring nature, education and experience. Caring for children requires a big heart and a strong commitment. They need caring, understanding, consistency and love. My education gave me a great scientific understanding of development, it was the classroom that helped me understand how individual children learn and develop. Classrooms of different ages and sizes exposed me to unique challenges.
