About Kelsey

Hi there! My name is Kelsey and I am a patient, flexible, and experienced 1st grade teacher available for the summer. I have a Masters in Elementary Curriculum and Instruction. I am CPR certified, fully vaccinated, and have reliable transportation. I like working with kids because I love watching them learn, grow, and enjoy what life has to offer. I love to foster a space where they can be themselves, use their imagination, and build self esteem and confidence. I started working with kids over 15 years ago. I started teaching elementary-aged students 5 years ago. In my spare time, I like to hike, explore San Diego, paint, and spend time with my loved ones. I'm a lover of all animals, too! One thing you should know about me is I am incredibly dedicated to every child I have the privilege to work with. In my years teaching, families have praised and appreciated my productivity and commitment to their child's learning, growth, and safety. I look forward to hearing from you!
