About Kelsey

I have been caring for children since I was 13 years old and find so much joy being around them. My childcare career started as odd babysitting jobs throughout high school. I spent two summers working as a camp counselor at Northfield YMCA's summer camp programs where I organized and led activities for 15 - 20 children ages 3 - 9. During winter breaks, I worked in the Northfield YMCA's Child Care with children ages 1 - 9. I nannied part time for two families throughout my time at University of Wisconsin - Madison. The first family consisted of two girls, ages 4 and 9, and one boy, age 6. I would pick everyone up from school, transport to after school activities, assist with homework assignments, and make dinner for the family. The second family consisted of a 1-year-old boy and a 3-year-old goal. I spent around 20 hours/wk engaging with the children, creating non-screen related activities, facilitating nap and bed times, and general housecleaning.
