Left hospital nursing 4 yrs ago for my own health reasons which opened doors to travel and learn more about integrative and functional health/ nursing and the full meaning of health. While I fully understand allopathic medicine concept, I feel it is most useful in acute situations and not as much for chronic health issues or the aging process. I have taken an interest in particular in root causes of symptoms, brain health, autoimmune, chronic inflammatory response syndrome and early to moderate stage Alzheimer's. I understand the need to engage in conversation and the impact feeling cared about can have on the brain which relays messages to the body. Unable to provide care in homes where there has been any prior water damage, mold, cats or smoking.
