About Kelly

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, loyal, and warm. I like caring for seniors because I enjoy their company and love hearing their stories. I'm looking for a part time job that is fulfilling. As a teenager I volunteered at the Lutheran Home and truly enjoyed spending time with seniors. I am new to this job, but have past experience volunteering in a nursing home and also have experience with Alzheimer's after my grandfather's diagnosis over a decade ago. In my spare time I like to watch my kids play hockey, read, listen to podcasts, go for nature walks, play with my dogs and do crossword puzzles. One thing you should know about me is I have been a teacher for nearly 20 years. I love it but look forward to my summer breaks. My skills include organization, attention to detail, reliability, and communication.
