About Kaylie

Currently my background in childcare includes private art teaching (watercolor and oil based) for a year, working Academy of Performing Arts in Orange County summer camps as an art and theatre teacher. (2yrs), babysitting off and on for children under 10yrs (5yrs rs), working with the Down Syndrome Association of Orange County (3yrs) as a part of National Charity League, and right now I work at Ivanhoe Elementary school as a Coach in after school. I teach theatre, dance, and art, and I also assist in Homework help. This summer, I was a surf coach for children of any age-preferably those who were water safe! I have 3 younger brothers 10, 15, and 17, one of which is Autistic and the other ADHD, so I'm very helpful with kids who are neurodivergent. Growing up in the Waldorf School system I learned how children can grow in the arts and are allowed to just be that-children! I have a degree in Performing Arts from San Diego State University and University of Kent in United Kingdom.
