About Kaylie

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, thoughtful and nurturing. I like working with kids because I get to see the world for the first time all over again through their eyes and be a part of all the lessons that come with growing up! I'm looking for a job that can help fill my summer days, as I've recently graduated from college. I started working with kids when I was 16 years old when I started as a dance teacher. I also have been babysitting my sister with Down Syndrome since I was around 9 years old. In my spare time, I like to read and draw as well as get outside and hike! One thing you should know about me is that I am not a pushover. I have learned through experience that maintaining certain guidelines helps kids feel safe and trustful of you. My skills include 1. creativity and the ability to have fun with most situations! 2. patience and understanding of children with different learning abilities 3. the ability to multitask and manage multiple problems at once
