About Kayley

Throughout college I did some part time nannying care, usually for a few hours in the evenings so the parents could get some work done around the house. I briefly worked for a daycare (Blessings Manor) in Eugene for a few months while I was finishing up classes. As a youth, I spent a lot of my time watching over my younger cousins around the house. Since college I've dedicated a lot of time to the outdoor education world. I've worked with the School Garden Project, working with 3rd and 5th graders promoting hands on education facilitating lessons ranging from plant parts to decomposition and ecosystems. I've volunteered a lot of time to Grassroots Garden here in Eugene, working with numerous individuals and school groups. Most recently as a Ranger for the Forest Service, I focused on interpretive education work specifically geared towards kids in the outdoors which lead be to Northwest Youth Corps in which I lead a youth crew through September and early October.
