About Kayla

I am a mother myself with 20 years experience in child care and 8 years experience in the medical field. I started babysitting when I was 13 as a summer nanny and date night sitter. I began working in child care centers when I was 16 where I eventually became the director. During this time I still provided evening/weekend care for a lot of the families. I also have been a CNA and worked in home health with special needs and medically fragile children. I worked at Children's Mercy as a CNA when I was 18 and I worked at Hardin Memorial in Kentucky as a CNA on the step down ICU floor. I have experience with children of all ages, special and/or medical needs (autism, ADHD/ADD, CP, Down syndrome, feeding tubes, etc). As a mother myself with years of experience in the medical field and childcare industry you know you are leaving your children with someone you can trust and rely on!
