About Kayla

Hello Potential Families! I have worked in child care for infants- preschool age for 5 years. I recently started nannying my cousin's children, but he is home in the summer since he is a teacher. I am hoping to find a good fit that is part-time because I am in school to eventually become an Art Therapist. I enjoy doing indoor and outdoor art projects with children and creating a positive environment. I enjoy being active and outdoors in the summer, but can also adapt to having indoor activities for weather and/or health-related reasons (asthma, allergies, etc.) I also enjoy yoga and seems to be soothing for the current family. I am previously CPR & First Aid certified, but has expired this year. If a family feels more comfortable with an active certificate and provides 20+ hours of work, I will take the class to renew. I am servsafe certified which means I can prepare and store food for children proficiently. I have extensive experience with children who have ADD/ADHD.
