Hello! I'm kayla and I have about 3 years experience as a private nanny. However, I have 5+ years in childcare in general! I have worked with kids as young as 2 all the way up to teenagers. My main priority is insuring that each child I am around feels valued, safe, and loved. I emphasize on the fact that children soak everything up so I implement educational and life lessons as much as possible. I have 15+ years of training in martial arts which has given me the ability to add structure to any situation while still being able to have fun. I am CPR/ first aid/ and AED certified as well. Kayla has been an absolute godsend for our family. When we took our kids out of daycare during Covid, we had so many nannies turnover after just a couple of months. Kayla told us during the interview that she would be committed to our family and loving our boys, and she has proven that every day. She is thoughtful, playful, and has seemingly endless patience. She researches age-appropriate activities, lessons, and makes sure to teach them about values like kindness, communication, and respect. Our twin boys are starting preschool this August and while we knew it was the right time, we were heartbroken at the thought of Kayla not being part of our daily lives. She's a natural caregiver and a wonderful person.
