I've been a Teaching Asst to grades PreK-4th (2 yrs; mostly led small group instruction in Reading & Math), Lead Preschool Teacher (9 yrs), Substitute Teacher to all ages, an Elem Music Teacher (3 yrs), & a Piano Teacher. Plus I've volunteered w/ children's choirs at my churches for 25+ years. On top of that, I homeschooled my 4 children for 15 years, and my graduates have won many academic & talent scholarships, and went on to be Honors students in college. (Two have graduated Magna Cum Laude from college.) I've spent my life teaching children, and I dearly love it! I'm finding I especially like more one-on-one instruction.
