I hold a bachelors degree in English and a Masters in bilingual education. Post grad I moved to Spain and worked as an English teacher for 3 years in bilingual and international school settings. I have experience working with 1st through 6th grade. I am currently on track to earn my multiple subject teaching credential in June (my Spanish masters doesn't transfer to a credential). My favorite part of being an educator is building connections with students and getting to know how their brains work! All students are different so I spend time intentionally learning how they learn. I'm also able to teach phonics and early reading skills as well. I'm experienced working with neurodiverse learners as well (ADHD, autism)!
