About Katie

Hey everyone! I go by Katie Jo. Just a little bit about me, I graduated from Point University in 2015 with a Bachelor's in Child & Youth Development. From there, I was a Lifeguard Instructor and taught swim lessons while also being a Paraprofessional in the school system. I then decided to work with adolescents in the school system and also volunteer for YoungLife in Fayette County up until I got married in June 2020. I graduated in 2020 with my Master's degree in Counseling in Human Services with a specialty in Adolescence and Parenting Skills. While I have always worked with children, whether that is babysitting, swim lessons, or in the education field, I would like to add that I have experience with Learning Disabilities. I worked with The Bedford School and, also, worked as an RBT in a clinical facility.
