About Katie

Hello! My name is Kate I am 21 years old! I am in my first year of graduate school studying Mental Health Counseling. I am interested in working with children and adolescents in the future. I have experience being a peer tutor for 9th-12th graders where I Educated and encouraged students to think critically and guided them to problem solve. I conducted study groups to analyze and work through students' questions in multiple core curriculum areas. I also have experience working with students that have hard time focusing on school work. I helped these students get caught up with their school work and get back on track. I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, and understanding.
