I'd describe my personality as creative, compassionate, and persistent. I like working with kids because you never know what's going to happen! I'm looking for a job that is fun, fulfilling, and flexible regarding personal days and emergencies. I started working with kids when I was around 10. My sister was 2 and I would watch her for short periods of time (90s kid...). I started watching other's kids in junior high and professionally working with them after high school. One thing you should know about me is I am a big advocate for "gentle parenting". I strive to go above and beyond the usual guidelines for correcting children to include respecting them as a person, their feelings, and their opinions. I also use boundaries and natural consequences instead of punishments, and strive to have realistic expectations for your child depending on their development.
