About Katie

I have babysat for neighborhood family's from the age of 14- now ( 10+years) I lived in Chicago for 2 years and was a full time nanny there for a 5-year-old. My duties included providing meals/transportation to activities/ scheduling/ and coming up with fun activities and projects. I have also worked at a before and after school program for 4 years and worked with kids from ages 5-11. I have experience babysitting toddlers as well. My skills include being very creative! I love art projects and teaching art. I love sports- being active with kids is a lot of fun for me. I am very patient. I understand things are not going to always be rainbows and unicorns and am communicative with parents as I believe the best care can be provided when there is set rules/expectations and believe in a collaborative approach.
