About Katie

I am looking for a part time nanny position or an occasional babysitter position. I hope to find families that I can build a relationship with. I am currently in my fifth and final year at GVSU studying Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Ed. I am teaching assisting at the moment in an elementary school, but looking for some extra work! I have 3 years experience working in a childcare centers with children ages 0-5. I also have various experience with children ages 5 and up! I have a huge passion for children and teaching them about this world. I believe that children learn best through guidance and want to be a positive influence in their life. I have a bubbly personality and excellent problem solving skills. I strive to help build your child's confidence by provide an environment that is positive, kind, inclusive, patient, and understanding. My goal is to help your child thrive socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively.
