About Katie

Hello :) My name is Katie! I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education with a focus in math from Michigan State University. I have been babysitting since high school and working at a local child care center for the past 3 summers. At the daycare I have had experience caring for children from infancy-5. I have learned to care for kids during meals, sleep, play, and also plan small lessons. The center also offers a summer camp for school age children. I supervise outdoor play, meals, activities, and daily art projects. My passion for children and learning has led me to peruse a career in education. I will be completely my student teaching next fall so I am only looking for a part time tutoring job. A few days a week after school would be my availability. I am looking to make some money during my unpaid student teaching so I am really open to whatever your family needs! However, I am also available for weekend or random evening jobs so lmk if you have any 1 time/date night needs!
