About Katie

I'd describe my personality as encouraging, compassionate, and nurturing. I like working with kids because they remind me to join their world, and enjoy life in the moment. I'm looking for a job that will give me a sense that I'm making a difference, that I'm helping another parent or family's life. I started working with kids when I turned 12. I started babysitting, then I started nannying when I was 18. I've been a live- in nanny in New York and Utah. I've worked in several day cares, along with being a mom of two boys. In my spare time, I like to long board, read, do yoga, write in my journal, rest & self care. One thing you should know about me is that I love all kids. I care for everyone & I will prioritize their safety over anything. Physically and emotionally. It feels most natural to me to nurture and protect. Your babies will always be safe with me. My skills include diffusing big feelings, sensory activities, outside therapy.
