About Katie

Hello! My name is Katie and I have a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and five years of professional experience working with children. During the school months, I work as a full-time second grade teacher. Prior to my current job, I worked as a lead teacher for ages 4 months-6 years at a daycare in Charlotte, NC for four years. I also babysat for multiple families throughout my high school and college years. I am CPR, SIDS, Lifeguard and First Aid certified. I am comfortable with cooking/meal preparation and can drive children around to various planned excursions (park, pool, zoo, summer camps, etc). I want the kids I care for to have fun while feeling safe and supported.
