About Katie

Hello! My name is Katie and I'm 26 years old and I have been babysitting/nannying since I was 15. I graduated from Winona State University with a degree in special education and have been teaching the last three years at a small charter school in Minneapolis. I have experience with elementary aged students. My first year of teaching I taught kindergarten and the last two years I taught students in 1st through 6th grade. I volunteered at church in the kids department during the last couple of summers. My first year helping out at church I had a small group of first grade girls and my second year I volunteered in the crafts department. I am passionate about music, art and incorporating movement activities that will help your child develop and grow as their own individual. I have my own transportation and am willing to work with pets and help with house cleaning! I can't wait to meet your sweet little ones!
