About Katie

Hi! I am a child psychologist (MSEd) and a doctoral candidate toward a PsyD in School-Clinical Child Psychology. I am currently employed as a psychologist inpatient psychiatric hospital NY. I have extensive training and experience with special needs populations, including children on the Autism spectrum and children who have been diagnosed with other neuropsychological and mental health disorders. I am also well-versed in infant, child, and adolescent development and am able to create and implement behavioral interventions and foster socioemotional learning through games, books, crafts, and other activities. In addition to my education and current employment, I have been working with children in various capacities for more than 10 years (e. g., babysitter for 1-4 children, infant daycare professional, preschool teacher, psychiatric residential counselor for adolescents, overnight newborn care).
