About Kathryn

I am a 3rd grade teacher for Glynn County. I have my reading endorsement in K-12th Grades and my Early Childhood Education endorsement in grades PK-5. I have 2 years of experience teaching early intervention reading/math classes. I would feel comfortable being a reading tutor at any grade level, and a math tutor for grades K-3. My areas of expertise including reading comprehension strategies, phonics, phonemic awareness, and writing strategies. I have also taken training courses in dyslexia awareness and teaching strategies. I have my own curricular resources I am prepared to use, but if you have specific resources you want me to use with your student, I can make use of those as well.
