I provided 24 hour care for my husband's grandmother who suffered from dementia and Alzheimer's. I cooked meals, grocery shopping, cleaned, laundry & talked. She could remember so much from yesteryear and was an amazing woman. Her only struggle was the present. I have provided assistance for my elderly parents. My mother is not physically able to stay at home without assistance. I have been a senior care aide on a 12 month assignment through Senior Check In that just ended. I have great respect for our elderly and the history each one uniquely shares.
