About Kathleen

I have a lifetime of childcare experience and training. I am especially good with infant-toddlers and am considered a "baby whisperer". My husband and I are new transplants to Aurora, from Grand Junction, CO. In Grand Junction I worked for 13 years for Choice Hotels. I quit in 2010 to care for my new baby granddaughter. I had cared for my other 4 grand children during my off hours but felt that taking this job on full time was putting my energy to good use. I continued on for 10 years adding in another grandchild to the care giving schedule. More recently I went in to elder care and I loved that work as well. I had a recent 10month job caring for a baby boy. His mother decided to quit her job and stay home. We continue to be close friends. Before my work at Choice Hotels I worked for 7 years for MDS in Grand Junction caring for Disabled Children and Adults. My time at MDS included a lot of training regarding disabilities but also education
