About Kathleen

I work as a para educator in a special needs classroom in the Rochester school district with middle school aged children with extreme physical and cognitive impairments, and have experience working with both younger and older children as well. I am also the mom of a 17-year-old daughter diagnosed with ADD. I am very patient and am a non-smoker/non-drug user with an excellent driving record. I like pets (dogs/cats/bunnies), and enjoy cooking, reading, and spending time outside in nice weather. I am available for babysitting/senior care/respite care from 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. weekdays, and occasional Friday/Saturday evenings for date nights out for parents. I am the happy mom of Pepper, a7-year-old foxhound mix dog, who has been my baby since she was just under a year old. We take daily walks, and she is absolutely a part of my family. We take her with us when we go out of town to our cottage, and she sleeps on my bed. Before finding Pepper, I had my shepherd mix, Buddy, for 15 years before she passed from pancreatitis.
