Hi, my name is Kathleen! A little about ME.... First, the thing I am most proud of is my incredible 19-year-old son who graduated High School 2 years ago and is working hard and studying to be an electrician. He is many things, but most importantly, he is kind and an all around, good kid! I am approaching my 10th year as a special education teaching assistant in an elementary classroom. I love my job! I have met some AMAZING children and families over the years! I have well over 25 years experience working with children from newborns to elementary school age. I have worked in daycare as well as part time babysitting for multiple families, some on Care. com Over the past 10 years, I've been immersed in the field of special education, working with children with learning challenges, medical issues, non verbal etc. I actually look forward to going to work each day! I am constantly learning.

When we moved to Concord Massachusetts we tried multiple babysitters, none of which were reliable. Then, we found Kathy. She is older (not a typical teen looking for extra cash without the responsibility.). She has a son of her own so I felt she came with a compassion that outweighed any of the other younger sitters. (Then, I found out she worked with children with disabilities and this only confirmed that.) She was kind, loving, caring and compassionate with our children. We still consider her part of our family even now that our boys are older and we have moved away from the area. She watched our 2 boys from when the youngest was 5yrs old til about 11yrs. (When they were at their older age, she stayed overnight with them so my husband and I could comfortably go away on vacation.) I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter for their children of any age. (My boys still say she was the best sitter they've ever had.)
