About Kathleen

As one of seven, my parents always raised us to appreciate and respect those who came before us. During the last four years of my mother's life, my siblings and I were given the extraordinary privilege of taking care of her until, in 2019 at the ripe old age of 97, she passed. Through that experience, I learned the fragility yet resilience of our older generation, as well as invaluable methods of care, ingenuity, patience, humor, compassion, assisting physical as well as emotional needs. Having worked full time with the disabled at United Cerebral Palsy for many years I've also learned sometimes people just need companionship; someone to talk to or laugh with. This is where my heart lies... helping others. I feel I can offer peace of mind to those who need my help.
