About Kathleen

I have worked in childcare for nearly 25 years, caring for children from infancy to school age. I have worked both in and out of the home, part-time and full-time managing the needs (and wants) of my charges including transportation, meals, early childhood learning and even potty training. I have cared for multiples who were born prematurely and also have experience with special needs children. During the pandemic I homeschooled the 2 children I tended to who were ages 7 and 9. While my approach is simple: fun loving care reinforced with clear rules that teach the children how to be social, well-mannered, ready for school when they reach the appropriate age and, most importantly, happy. I enjoy reading, playing and doing crafts with the children. My other duties include laundry, meal prep, errands and organizing. I am a mom of two, aunt to 15 and sibling to six. I live in Westchester with my family.
