Hello! I have over 10 years teaching experience and am certified K-12. I hold my Master's Degree in Special Education and Autism. I have one child myself, I am the youngest in a huge family. I have been taking care of children my whole life (starting with my nieces and nephews, and then professionally since I was about 20 years old). I love children and truly enjoy caring for them. I am big on keeping busy with kids, and usually do lots of activities: picnics outside, trips to the park and beach, reading, crafts, cooking, you name it! Kids will not be "stuck inside" watching TV all day when they are with me. My driving records is clean, and I drive a car that has plenty of room for strollers, car seats, and everything that kids need! I am also available for tutoring, cooking and cleaning, and running errands.

Kathleen has taken amazing care of my one year old over the past month. She is sweet, energetic, trustworthy, and has all the essential "mommy" qualities (i.e. eyes in the back of her head, firm but gentle discipline when necessary, keeps a tidy and safe home). I drop my son off at her house for 5 hours a day, 4 days per week. He absolutely loves Kathleen and her 15 mo old daughter (who is adorable, well-behaved, and teaching my son lots of good habits). Kathleen is great with communicating the details of the day and any issues that come up. Overall amazing to work with and a phenomenal nanny!
