About Katherine

I am an experienced and licensed elementary educator with a Master's degree in education from the University of Notre Dame. I will also be starting a Ph. D. in Curriculum, Instruction, and Teacher Education in Fall 2023. In addition to 2 years as a fourth grade teacher, I have worked in early childhood education and various tutoring programs for students from preschool through eighth grade. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and have extensive experience working with emerging bilingual students and instructing in both languages. My passion for student learning drives me to find creative approaches to instruction and to maintain a sincere care for my students and their growth.
