Hi there! My name is Katherine, but I go by Katie. I have over 11 years working with children (3 inside the classroom). I currently work as a grades teacher at a Waldorf School. I am am in the process of receiving my Waldorf certification as well as my Masters in Education. After receiving my undergraduate degree, I moved to China and taught in a preschool. I then moved to Taiwan and taught several classes age pre-k to middle school (11 years old). I was an assistant for a year in a Waldorf Kindergarten. Last year, I taught first grade with 11 wonderful students. I am looking for a few part time or one-time jobs to help fill up my summer.

I am a divorced dad of two tween girls and was in search of a nanny who could serve as a positive role model for them. Enter Katie, who appeared seemingly out of nowhere, much like Mary Poppins. She was an absolute godsend, effortlessly understanding and meeting the needs of my girls right from the start. Katie consistently exceeded my expectations in every way possible.
