About Katherine

My experience caring for children began when I was 15 years old. I was a camp counselor from then on to the age of 20. During my time working as a camp counselor, I was able to care for children all ages. I was responsible for up to 10 children at a time throughout the day. During this time I had my group engage in a variety of outdoor activities, fun games, and much more! I also have many years of experience babysitting including experience caring for twins (boys) that were 4 years old and I continued care for them until they were 7 years old. I have babysat toddlers to teens. The youngest child I have watched over was 1-year-old up until she turned 3. During my time as a camp counselor, I gained experience caring for special needs children. I did this for one full summer and cared for children with a range of disabilities. During my college education I have taken courses geared toward children and learning, including children who are English language learners and special needs.
