About Katherine
I am currently pursuing a PhD in Literacy and English Language Arts from NC State University. I have a Master's degree in Literacy, a teaching certification in secondary English (Grades 7-12) and have my ESL certification. Before starting school full time this year, I taught middle school and high school English. I also have extensive experience working with children and teens in informal settings. I've served as a camp counselor, fitness coach, and youth leader. I am patient, enthusiastic, and driven to help all children succeed!
