I'm a former public school teacher who left the classroom to care for my special needs child in 2000. Prior to 2000, I taught 10th grade Social Studies and was a Special Education teacher. I am certified to teach in MA, however in 2020, I allowed my two NH certifications to lapse (for Social Studies 5-12, and General Special Education K-12). My forte was teaching students with IEPs and 504 plans in a regular education classroom, and so my roster was routinely filled with students with a wide range of skills and needs. Since 2002, I've worked in a variety of educational settings, including substitute teaching in the Hampton school district, teaching adaptive and therapeutic riding, and teaching afterschool enrichment programs at the elementary level. I am comfortable teaching and tutoring the following grades and subject areas: K-grade 5 (all subjects) and Social Studies grades 5-12.
