About Katherine

Hello! I'm Katherine M., a graduate student at CSUN pursuing my masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have a genuine love for assisting others and find immense joy in working with children. Over the years, I've had the privilege of caring for children of all ages and abilities, gaining valuable experience along the way. In 2020, I had a delightful time as a homeschool preschool teacher for four toddlers in the Santa Barbara area. Creating engaging session plans filled with early reading, math activities, and art projects made every day a rewarding adventure. Additionally, my role as a Behavioral Technician with STAR of CA provided me with enriching experiences in supporting children with ASD. For the past year, I've been caring for two young children as a nanny. As my CSUN classes transition to part-time over the summer, I'm excited to extend my assistance to another wonderful family. Working towards becoming an LMFT, my ultimate goal is helping others live happy lives!
