About Katherine

I am 18, soon to be 19. Currently, I attend the University of North Dakota in pursuit of a doctorate in Occupational Therapy and a minor in Spanish. I have five years of childcare experience with children ranging 0-10 years old. The summer of 2018 I nannied a 3-month-old infant. Since that summer I have babysat for the now family of four as needed. The second child of this family is medically disabled. She has a feeding tube and medications taken intravenously among other necessities. My senior year of high school I began working as a personal care assistant. Working with two clients, in the same home, who have mental disabilities has come with immense challenges and a great handful of successes. Overall, my goal as a childcare provider is to foster an environment of kindness, cohesiveness and curiosity. I hope to establish myself as a trusted individual who not only the children can rely on, but also the family.
