For the past fifteen months, Kat has worked closely with my family providing weekly childcare for my two daughters, K (now 2.5) and N (10 months). Kat has been there for it all; she supported my then 21-month old-really our entire family-through the birth of a sibling. She has calmly buoyed K through bouts of separation anxiety, shyness in groups, resistance to naps, and struggles with potty training. Kat is unflappable. She is confident in ways that can only be gained through experience. She is conscientious and highly attuned to details. (She consistently refilled and repacked the Go Bag snacks, covered and returned uneaten portions of meals to the fridge, and kept the toys organized, which anyone who has spent time with small children knows takes a lot of work-all without once being asked to do any of these tasks). We said goodbye, with great sadness, when she moved out of state after completing her degree. You would be extremely fortunate to have her on your team.
