About Katherine

I'd describe my personality as caring, cheerful, and patient. I like working with kids because they are active, imaginative and creative. It's amazing how much you can learn from them and an honor to play a role in being a positive influence in their lives. I started working with kids when I was 12 years old and able to babysit the kids next door to my childhood home. Since then, I have had about 24 years of child care experience in various roles - babysitting, nannying, working at birthday party venues, summer camp counselor at Sea World during the college years, high school tennis coach, receiving a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, and raising two children (current ages 2 and 5) as a mother. In my spare time, I like to read, exercise, play tennis, hike with my kiddos, and drink lots of coffee! One thing you should know about me is I will always love and care for your kiddos as if they were my own. My skills include active listening, patience, and creativity.
