About Katherine

Hi there:) My name is Katie and I'm a current undergraduate student Lesley University that loves working with kids! I have experience as a long-term Nanny, Babysitter, Pre-school Classroom assistant, as well as a Camp Counselor at a sleep-away camp for kids of all ages. As a result of this wide range of experiences, I have knowledge for care of young children and toddlers, as well as skill in handling larger groups of kids, even with high energy levels. My focus of study is Holistic Psychology and Expressive Art Therapies, so rest assured I will be bringing my best to keep your children attuned to as well as entertained. I'm also a certified 200-Hr Kripalu Yoga Instructor, and have training in trauma-informed mindfulness and yoga for children and teens. My skills include navigating within complex social-environments, understanding and communicating healthy-boundaries, and attuning to the unique needs of the children I'm working with.
