About Katelynn

Hello! I'm Katelynn, I'm so excited to work with you! I have a passion for teaching and have over 10 years of experience working with special education students in a variety of subjects, including social emotional learning. I have a bachelor's degree in family science and a masters degree in special education! For the past 3 years I have been working as a special education case manager which includes managing IEP's and conducting IEP meetings. I have worked in self-contained classrooms teaching students core academics as well as social emotional needs to help them transition back to general education and learn alongside their peers. Most of my experience is with Kindergarten to 4th grade students but I have worked with all elementary ages from Kindergarten to 6th grade. I love working one-on-one with students to really focus in on their individualized needs and what helps them learn best! I also love working with small groups and doing book clubs for struggling readers!
