About Katelyn

Hi! My name is Katelyn, I'm 22, and just graduated from Mercyhurst with a degree in bio (neuroscience concentration) & psychology (with a focus in child developmental psychology). I'm currently looking for work until I start my full time job in August. I've spent the past 8 summers off and on babysitting, and have had different internships and volunteer jobs working with children. I absolutely love working with babies and kids, and find it so rewarding. I have worked with kiddos of all ages and feel comfortable caring for children of any age. In addition, I have volunteered as a tutor for elementary school children, and am comfortable helping with homework. I also absolutely love to cook and am always cleaning up after things, so I'm more than willing to help out in either of these areas. I consider myself to be very patient and understanding, and believe that I am able to create a comfortable and stimulating environment for the children.
