About Katelyn

Hello! My name is Katelyn and I absolutely love caring for and teaching children. I enjoy hiking, SCUBA diving, traveling and outdoor activities. I have 8 years of experience caring, teaching, and tutoring for children. I specialize in working with children with special needs. I am respectful and mindful of how each parent wants to have their children looked after. I enjoy creating a fun, safe, and stimulating environment for your child/ children. I grew up in New York City. I enjoy being outdoors so I am familiar with many of the city's parks, beaches, and recreational areas. I have extensive experience working with children in the position of nanny, camp counselor, daycare assistant, tutor, preschool teacher, substitute teacher, and special needs swim instructor. I have my degree in Human Development with coursework in child development, and education.
