About Kate

Hi! My name is Kate and I'm passionate about providing quality care while working with children. A bit about me: I'm a neuroscience student at Northwestern University and I'll be in Evanston this summer. I have a strong background in providing care both in-home as a babysitter as well as in healthcare. I have experience babysitting for 3 different families with children ages 2-10 years old. I love to help kids grow their creativity through crafts, story telling and imagination play. I am open to light housekeeping, grocery shopping, cooking/meal prep, as well as transportation. I am passionate about providing care and have worked for over two years as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a long term care facility. I am also CPR & AED certified and currently enrolled in an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course where I expect to gain licensure in June 2024. In my spare time, I like to read, cook, practice yoga, go hiking with my dogs, and spend time with family and friends.
