About Karly

Hello, my name is Karly and I am 27 years old, and a true Wilmington, NC native. Words I'd use to describe me would be: theatrical, outgoing, and adventurous, and as a local, I know all the best parks and fun activities to do around town. I majored in Cosmetology in college, however, I spend most days off devoting time to my photography business, reading, visiting local art events, as well as traveling to new places. Working with kids has been something I've enjoyed since I was a teenager. As an adult, I have accumulated over 5+ years of experience working with 80+ kids, ages 3-12 through after-school childcare and summer camp programs. What I value as a child caretaker is helping to create core childhood memories, and watching children thrive and grow. I grew up with a babysitter, and I have so many fond memories of her growing up and would love the opportunity to be that for someone else. This is one of the many things that draws me to childcare.
