About Karla

I have helped my younger sister with her homework all my life. She is currently a junior in high school and she still calls me on the phone to ask me questions. I also have experience helping kindergarten and second grade students with their homework. I also volunteered at the high school. I would help tutor students that were behind in school. Many of them had just gotten by school by doing the bare minimum. We sit in a classroom and work on math and English homework. Some of them were on a middle school level and I would teach them multiplication and division. It was challenging to have to go back and teach simpler math when they were working on a complex problem, but it was encouraging to see them learn. I love tutoring and if I do not know an answer, I will make sure and figure it out in order to help the student that I am tutoring. I will take the necessary measures to be able to help the student.
