About Kari

I understand what it's like to struggle to learn and achieve academically despite teachers commenting to my parents how bright I am. I am one of the 9. 4% of students in 2016 diagnosed with ADHD. I've learned how to adapt to my ADHD and embrace it as my superpower. My favorite part about being a substitute teacher and a tutor is getting to share with kids how they too can succeed with a learning disability. While I am not certified or trained in learning disability education I do have my own life experiences from which to draw knowledge. I have a BA in Italian Language and Culture and an AS in Health Sciences. In my free time I volunteer at the Museum of Northwest Art and dabble in all sorts of arts and crafts.
