About Karida

Hello! I'm fairly new to the Bay Area; I moved out here this summer to begin a clinical psychology doctoral program in Berkeley. Before moving here, I lived in Georgia where I was receiving my undergraduate degree in Psychology, and working as nanny to four amazing kiddos under 4! I also worked as a teacher at an inclusive daycare, where most of our students were 3-4 years old, learning new things and finding joy in the world while also navigating various physical disabilities, diagnoses of ASD and/or ADHD, or dealing with a history of trauma. I've worked with children in schools, at home, and at summer camps. I've learned so much about bringing the right levels of creativity, patience, and a good sense of humor to the table over these past 6 years. Kids bring me so much knowledge and joy, and I have so much honor for the process of raising up kind people. I'd love to assist you in that journey! Feel free to message me with any questions!
